You're in control. Disconnect, delete your data, or revoke access at any time — no hoops, no delays.

What we keep, and what we don't

Records and reports pulled from QuickBooks pass through our servers and go straight into your Google Sheet. We don't keep a copy. We do keep what the service needs to run: your account and plan, your QuickBooks connection tokens, sheet settings, sync logs and, if you use two-way sync, a log of each row you push to QuickBooks (the values sent and QuickBooks' reply). All of it travels encrypted over HTTPS, and your QuickBooks tokens are also encrypted in our database. Push log values are erased after 30 days and sync logs are deleted after 180 days. Disconnecting deletes your tokens; email us to delete the rest.

How to opt out

Follow these steps to disconnect SheetsSync and remove your data.

Disconnect from the add-on

Open any Google Sheet with SheetsSync installed. Click Extensions > SheetsSync to open the sidebar, then click the Disconnect button.

What happens: Your OAuth tokens and QuickBooks connection data are immediately and permanently deleted from our servers. Your account, sheet configurations and logs stay until you request deletion (step 4) or their retention period in the table above ends.

Uninstall the add-on (optional)

In Google Sheets, go to Extensions > Add-ons > Manage add-ons. Find SheetsSync and click the three-dot menu, then select Uninstall.

What happens: The add-on is removed from your Google Workspace. It can no longer access your Google Sheets.

Revoke QuickBooks access (optional)

Sign in to your Intuit account at accounts.intuit.com. Navigate to Privacy & Security > Apps & Connections and remove SheetsSync.

What happens: Intuit revokes SheetsSync's OAuth tokens. Even if tokens existed on our side, they become invalid and cannot be used.

Request complete data deletion

Email support@getsheetssync.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Include the Google email address associated with your account.

What happens: We will delete all data associated with your account within 7 business days and send you a confirmation email when complete.
