SheetsSync ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our QuickBooks to Google Sheets synchronization service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you connect SheetsSync, we collect:
- Google Account: Your Google email address for authentication
- QuickBooks Company: Your QuickBooks realm ID and company name
1.2 OAuth Tokens
We securely store OAuth access and refresh tokens to maintain your QuickBooks connection. These tokens are encrypted at rest and automatically refreshed.
1.3 Sync Logs
We maintain logs of synchronization operations including:
- Timestamp of sync operations
- Entity types synced (e.g., Invoices, Customers)
- Record counts
- Error messages (if any)
Important: We do NOT store your actual QuickBooks financial data. Invoice details, customer information, and other financial records are processed in-memory during sync and written directly to your Google Sheet. We never retain copies of this data.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Authenticate your identity and authorize access
- Maintain your QuickBooks connection
- Perform synchronization operations you request
- Troubleshoot errors and improve our service
- Communicate important service updates

4. Data Retention
- OAuth Tokens: Retained until you disconnect or tokens expire (101 days for refresh tokens)

We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data only:
- With Intuit (QuickBooks) as required for OAuth authentication
- With Google as required for Sheets API access
- When required by law or legal process
- To protect our rights or safety
6. Your Rights
6.1 Access and Export
You may request a copy of all data we store about you by contacting us at support@getsheetssync.com.
6.2 Deletion
You may delete your data at any time by:
- Using the disconnect feature in the add-on
- Contacting us to request complete account deletion
6.3 Disconnect
You can disconnect SheetsSync from your QuickBooks at any time. This will immediately delete your OAuth tokens and connection data from our systems.
7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
- Non-discrimination for exercising your rights
8. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights including:
- Access: Request copies of your personal data
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure: Request deletion of your data
- Portability: Request transfer of your data
- Objection: Object to certain processing activities
9. Cookies and Tracking
SheetsSync does not use cookies or tracking technologies. We do not collect analytics or behavioral data through our landing pages.
10. Children's Privacy
SheetsSync is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
